minor-damage-2Accident Report

Sometimes drivers get into a situation where their insurance company requests a collision report for an accident that never got reported. Several scenarios could create this dilemma. Possibly, what seemed like minor damage turns out to be more severe. Also, during severe weather conditions like snow and ice law enforcement may not be available to respond to non-injury accidents because they are tied up on more serious collisions.

If your insurance company asks you for documentation on a non-reported accident, you can fill out the collision form yourself. Just download the Washington State Vehicle Collision Report. Follow the directions from the first two pages and complete the report. Once complete, mail the report to the Washington State Patrol at the address listed on the form.
