Motorcycle Safety
More often than not, motorcycle crashes are caused by drivers not the motorcyclist. Situations in which a crash will most likely occur include:
- Car making a left turn
- Motorcycle riding in a driver's blind spot
- Hazardous road conditions
- Obstructed line of sight
In order to increase driver’s awareness:
- Make yourself visible (meaning bright, reflective protective gear)
- Ride where you can be seen
- Never share a lane with a car
- Clearly signal a lane change or turn
